C :: week 15 :: Broccoli Salad

I am so behind in these blog updates. Sorry, there have just been other important things to do.  And at the end of the day I'd rather watch a show than cook. :)

Here's one that I made this summer.  The famous broccoli salad.  It's so yummy.  Like one of my favorite salads ever.




 Because I live in Mexico I have to soak the veggies.  For this recipe it's just two heads of broccoli and one head of cauliflower.
 This is an awesome tip - cook bacon on an aluminum foil lined pan at 400* for 15-20 minutes.  Crispy and perfect. :)
 Chop up the broccoli and cauliflower heads.


 Chop up about a quarter of a red onion - depends on how much you want.
 Then add some miracle whip (in Mexico it's called "Salad Dressing").  Mix it all together.
Add the bacon and about a cup of shredded or cubed cheese.
